Below are some photos from our half term family event held at the River Life Church on the 22nd October. We provided a range of activities for the young carers to access throughout the day including canvas painting, scavenger hunts and cake/biscuit decorating.
We got some valuable feedback from both the adults and children that attended:

Additionally, thanks to an opportunity that was presented to us from Southwick Primary School, our young carers were invited to design lanterns using various resources for the Southwick Lantern Festival.
During the 16th and 24th October the young carers we able to design and showcase their lanterns by participating in the parade through Southwick. They were also able to enjoy watching the fireworks display here and finish off the celebrations by singing along to a band and enjoying refreshments.
