There are no coffee mornings in August due to the school summer holidays.
The Transition Support Group will also not meet in August.

Sunderland, Washington and Coalfields Parent Carer Council (SWCPCC)
The Parent Carer Council will be closed for the school summer holidays. Emails will continue to be picked up but there may be a delay in replying.
The first meeting of the new school year will be on Friday 18th September, at the Carers' Centre, 10am - 12 noon.
ADHD Support Group
Are you a parent of a child with ADHD? The Sunderland ADHD Support Group is run by parents themselves and they offer each other advice and support.
There are no meetings during the school summer holidays, however, you can still email the group for information.
Gentoo Summer Fun Days
Entry and all activities are free.
Friday 7 August, 11am - 1pm, Kepier School, Diary Lane, Houghton-le-Spring DH4 5BH
Friday 14 August, 11am - 1pm, Easington Lane Community Access Point, Brick Garth, Easington Lane DH5 0LE
Friday 21 August, 11am - 1pm, The Monument Children's Centre, Whitefield Estate, Houghton-le-Spring DH4 7RT
Friday 28 August, 11am - 1pm, The Hetton Centre, Welfare Road, Hetton-le-Hole DH5 9NE
Activities include: African drumming workshop, circus skills workshop, striker, arts & crafts, competitions, Minions game, bird shows, football cage, henna, celebrity goalie, face painting, smoothy exercise bike, balloon modelling, petting zoo, free prize draws and many, many more.
Not all activities will be available at all events. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
Food, drinks and award winning Lickety Split Ice Cream will be available at a small cost.

Useful Vision helps families with blind or sight impaired children get the most out of life. They run fun activities for children from 0 - 19 across the region. All activities are free to families registered with them.

There are a range of autism friendly arts activities inspired by the national theatre production The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time taking place at Sunderland Empire.
There are also activities taking place at Arts Centre Washington, the Northern Gallery for Contemporary Art (top floor of City Library) and Sunderland Museum and Winter Gardens.

Relaxed and Signed Panto at The Customs House
There will be a relaxed performance of the Alice in Wonderland pantomime at The Customs House, South Shields, on Sunday 3rd January at 4.30pm. Ticket prices for this performance are £16 full, £15 concessions, £10 stalls side balcony, £9 circle side balcony. Carers come free with a registered disabled person.
There is also a signed performance on Wednesday 30th December at 7pm. Ticket prices for this performance are £18 full, £17 concessions, £10 stalls side balcony, £9 circle side balcony. Carers come free with a registered disabled person.
