To All Young Carers and their Families

Rainbows and Rollercoasters Project logoJust to let you know, following on from our consultation with you all in February where we asked you lots of questions about what should be available for young carers in Sunderland and then followed by the fantastic news that we won the lottery! (actually the People’s Projects Big Lottery Fund for our Rainbows and Rollercoasters project), we are all currently working very hard planning our next steps at Sunderland Carers’ Centre on how we can ensure as many new and previously known young carers can benefit from the work of Sunderland Carers’ Centre.

It was fantastic to read about the number of people who voted for us and we are now looking forward to see how the project will support young carers across Sunderland.

Watch this space – we will keep you informed of the new and exciting plans in the very near future.
